Match Report by Steve Taylor
The Terrors retained the LSC with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Hendon at Imber Court.
Jon Henry-Hayden and Allan McLeod had already gone close before the Terrors took an 11th minute lead. Keeper Richard Wilmot did well to keep out a Romuald Bouadji header, but the ball rebounded goalwards off a defender and Jon Henry-Hayden was credited with getting the final touch.
Danny Dyer levelled after 22 minutes, but Jon Henry-Hayden restored the lead three minutes later with a fierce cross shot after controlling a poor defensive header.
Henry-Hayden supplied an accurate cross for Paul Vines to outjump Wilmot to head the third after 54 minutes.
Hendon pushed forward in the final stages and Brian Haule scored an 83rd minute penalty, when Dave King tripped an attacker who'd taken the ball around him. Dave was given a yellow card, many referees would have sent him off.
In a frantic finish, Paul Vines was inches away with a header, and deep in stoppage time Hendon hit the woodwork from a corner.
