| Terrors found themselves on the receiving
end of a spectacular backlash as Hendon put
Saturdays hammering by Tonbridge firmly behind
them and turned on the style with a
comprehensive victory at Imperial Fields.
Three goals by Glenn Garner formed the
centre piece for a side that attacked at every
opportunity, tearing holes through the middle
and down the flanks of of the home sides 3-5-2
formation.
Shooting at every opportunity the visitors
also defended robustly, but without a hint of
the nastiness that tainted their second half
comeback in the league game in February.
Terrors, particularly McDonald, hustled and
bustled but never seriously challenged Viner,
apart from one effort just before the break
when the diminutive forward weaved his way
around the penalty area only to be denied by
the keepers legs.
Half Time: Terrors 0-3 Hendon
