With both sides having nothing to play for on a wonderfully sunny bank holiday afternoon by the seaside, a free flowing tussle between carefree opponents was just what the doctor ordered.  Sadly the doctor was off sick and we ended up with a lifeless affair that will will not live in the memory for long.

Terrors won their first corner after twenty minutes and sustained a short spell of pressure, but without creating any direct threat to the Horsham goal.  In the last five minutes of the half Dean McDonald shot a free king over the bar and, just before the break, good work from Pinnock and Hamlin set up Paul Vines for the only shot of the half, which was well saved by Tolfrey.

Half Time: Horsham  0-0  Terrors

Midway through the second period McDonald again overshot the crossbar following some neat close control under pressure.  Shortly after Andy Howell skimmed the crossbar with a shot/cross as he cut in from the left wing. Horsham managed a couple of half chances in the final ten minutes. First Seanla headed wide from a free kick, given away by Dean Hamlin on the edge of the area, then Savage also missed the target with his head from a corner.  In between Paul Vines laid on a through ball for McDonald to chase, but Tolfrey was alert to the danger and calmly gathered in.
